I've been working with Bookleteer recently to refresh their website and implement some of their plans for developing the project. Bookleteer allows users to publish their own books, to "make a handmade booklet using only your home printer and a pair of scissors."
I've worked with the bookleteer team to refresh the interface and to make public for the first time the large repository of booklets already created. We've implemented some nice features from the Dojo JS toolkit to create a responsive interface to the existing library and add the requirements necessary for new features such as The Periodical.
In the next phase of developments we'll be upgrading the entire site to HTML5, making its tools compatible with a growing range of devices from iPads to Android phones, and adding more powerful features which are still currently under wraps. Do go check out the site's publishing tools and get bookleteering!
