My Virtual Money
This week's Business week has a fascinating take on Second Life. Since introducing property rights into their virtual world, Linden Labs have seen their creation flourish, and this article profiles some of the people making real money in fictional spaces.
The blurring lines between the virtual and the real worlds might seem radical in many ways, but we happily gave over control of our financial institutions to software long ago. Go figure.
