Cath Bond dot com
CathBond.com
Currently developing a easy-to-use content management system for an artist to showcase and document her work. This CMS will have a blog which integrates with the Flickr API to allow her to produce work for her course (eg output to PDF), create galleries, and alter navigational tools, etc, without having to do any coding or document editing at all. Here's an early implementation of the Flickr API that allows the user to choose a picture of appropriate size and link it into a blog entry.
Menticulture
Menticulture
Menticulture is my new blog, and occasional podcast. Instead of getting a free blog account, I thought I'd roll my own PHP-based CMS running on MySQL. I also implemented my favourite thing of the moment - a folksonomic tagging system. What the hell is that, I hear you ask?
New Documentary Media
Coursework for Media Arts MA at Royal Holloway University of London. This site, my first, and created in 1998, was deleted by arch-fascists and ex-Freeserve ISP Wannadoo, so the only access I have to it is at the way back machine, which tends not to remember images, or, indeed all of the pages. sob. That'll learn me to rely on free isps.
The blurb I wrote at the time to describe the work was:
The brief was to produce a site which experimented with the non-linear opportunities offered by hypertexts; the work was heavily influenced by Italo Calvino's If on a winter's night a traveller.

Dancing EastEnders
Continuing the current craze for silly fluff, the cheery folks of Albert Square strut their stuff. This is a Flash game (not sure game is the right word...) I made for BBCi EastEnders Online in the style of Dancing Bush, Stereo MPs, and a load of other similar silly bits of glitter that avalanched across the internet a little while ago. Here's the prototype I made for fun :)

PUSH

LCF IT Dept Website
LCF IT Dept Website
We (me and my good pal Ben Gaunt) set up and developed a LAMP test server as an IT dept intranet web resource. Compiled Apache with Php built in to access a MySQL database of tutorial and learning materials. This link is a mirror of an early snapshot - the site was only available inside the college firewall.
Update: web hosting moved: only version of that early snapshot now is here on the wayback machine. If you're lucky you might even see an early attempt to make a mock Photoshop interface tutorial in Flash.
